JUvenile SWINGBOATS
AS they board - our passengers will be asked their destination (and unlike this world - this is only limited by imagination) by one of our Performance Showmen and will choose an outfit for their journey. Sometimes with song, sometimes with gentle encouragement but always with laughter our passengers and their carers (who wave, safely from ashore) are kept engaged for the duration of the ride, which, if you let them, never ends!

The Blackwater Fair Mighty Striker is topped with Franklin - the Mascot Giant Blue Whale. If you can’t ding his bell - we guarantee the twenty Super Strong men behind you can! Absolute crowd puller.
1962 Jackson buzzbombs
Fully restored and our latest addition to the Fairground - Built in 1962 these are our only electrically powered ride, still using the original chassis, cars and motor. As expected these are manned by enthusiastic operators - we are not just taking your children for a spin!

Our handmade, ethically sourced prizes are only one reason our punters keep returning. They come for the banter and bamboozlement of the Showmans repartee - of which there is plenty to be had. Full on engagement and the chance for some traditional light competition mean the Cork Shooting Joint is always a crowd pleaser
EDWARDIAN HOOPLA
Our Sympathetically Restored Edwardian Hoopla is pictured here working as a bar - however it’s also housed, amongst other unusual delights, a very popular Showman’s Heritage Museum, a Freak Show and even the Worlds Smallest Cinema!

…We can provide Traditional Side-Shows underneath our Stretch Marquee to complete the area. Sword Walking, Fire Eating, Beds of Nails, Target Whip Cracking, Music and Extra Walkabout Characters.
The Stretch Marquee is invaluable when British weather behaves like British Weather. We have Turkish Rugs and Bean Bags for people to relax on whilst being sheltered. It can encompass the Edwardian Hoopla to provide refreshments or entertainment. Please enquire for more information.
